Another winner from Uncle Nick! I got this one 'cause it's my favorite girl's dream car. What better reason? I got the go-ahead to put this one up for sale to help fund future projects. Original long block six cylinder engine runs great, but is showing its age. Needs metalwork to the rocker panels and fenders, and the amateur paint job from the 70's or 80's has reached the time to be refreshed. This is a great candidate for a full restoration of a regal cruiser. Or if I had my way, section out a foot of overall length, switch to 2 doors but move the slanted C pillars up to be the B pillars, chop the top 3 inches and channel the body 2 inches, add rear fender skirts, and have one of the coolest looking kustoms you could imagine!
Restoration:
'47 Chrysler Windsor - Brakes! Time to make this big girl able to slow down again. Master cylinder rebuilt, wheel cylinders rebuilt, new rubber lines, and all new steel ones too. I even cut and hand riveted the new linings to the shoes. How is that for personalized care?
